With his discerning palate and deep love for burgers, Rev is on a mission to celebrate the culinary artistry and creativity of chefs nationwide.
Dave’s nickname has a story of it’s own. A self-proclaimed “nickname kind of guy”, Dave found himself graduated from college without a nickname. Formally known as DJ Davey J, from his time hosting radio, he knew he needed something more clean cut. It was in 1997 when Dave realized exactly how easy it is to become an ordained minister online. As he said, it was one of the first ‘memes’ on the internet–everyone was being ordained just for the laughs. In need of both laughs and a nickname, Dave went online in ‘97 and was quickly ordained and Reverend of the church. From then, the nickname “Rev” stuck.
Rev, known for his bright Hawaiian shirts and marketing prowess quickly made a name for himself in the restaurant industry. He has become a must meet at industry conferences and a must follow on social media for his insights and perspective around the industry.
