Driver Tip: Vehicle Inspection

Here at DeliverThat we preach preparation. One of the most important tools to complete a delivery is your vehicle. Inspecting your vehicle pre-delivery may save you a lot of time and money in the long run.

We checked in Marcus, a San Francisco DeliverThat Driver. As an owner of a local roadside auto repair service, with over 30 years of experience working in an auto-shop, he is the perfect candidate to instruct on vehicle preparation.

When inspecting your vehicle, a good place to start is the engine compartment. Checking the following points will make sure your vehicle runs smoothly during deliveries.

  • Oil Levels

  • Radiator

  • Power Steering Fluid

  • Transmission Fluid

  • Battery Connection Cables

Next, check the exterior workings of your vehicle.

  • Tires

    • Pressure

      • Desired PSI will be listed on the tire wall

    • Treads

    • Any nails or screws lodged in the tire

  • Headlights

    • High Beams

  • Tail Lights

    • Brake Lights

  • Blinkers

Checking your vehicle pre-delivery will help ensure that nothing unexpected happens while on the road driving with DeliverThat. Thanks for the points Marcus!
