Today we highlight Ms. Samuels, a relatively new catering delivery driver on the DeliverThat platform who has already impacted our Dallas/Fort Worth Team. Ms. Samuels has recently celebrated her 100th delivery since signing up with DeliverThat, and her impact can already be felt at DeliverThat HQ and by our restaurant partners and customers!
Ms. Samuels is an entrepreneur who initially started with DeliverThat looking for extra income with flexible hours that fit around her business. However, after driving on other platforms, she quickly realized she needed a more lucrative gig than the others on the market. So an online search for “best delivery app” landed her on DeliverThat’s homepage, where she quickly took notice of the higher commissions and the promise of being more than “just another number” on the platform.
Being familiar with the area is a massive advantage for Ms. Samuels. After living in Fort Worth for over 17 years, she knows which spots she likes to deliver in and where she can set up for the most lucrative days. “Luna Grill is my favorite,” she says. “They are always on time, prompt, and very considerate to the drivers,” Ms. Samuels continued. In addition, she has fostered a good relationship with the store manager at her local Luna Grill. She added that a prompt restaurant is helpful to the driver not only on that current order but for the rest of their orders throughout the day.
Though relatively new to the platform, Ms. Samuels wasted no time referring her friends and family to join the DeliverThat team. Being in contact with other small business entrepreneurs in her area, Ms. Samuels was eager to share her experiences with DeliverThat and stressed the lucrative opportunities available.
When asked about her favorite aspect of driving for DeliverThat, Ms. Samuels reiterated the importance of competitive pay and flexible hours in her line of work. She took value out of our education approach during the signup process and noted all the available resources to already established drivers. “I just enjoy setting up the food for the clients and the catering on wheels approach of DeliverThat,” she added.
In her first 100 deliveries with DeliverThat, Ms. Samuels has already positively impacted her catering market. Approaching her deliveries with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a client-focused mentality, Ms. Samuels is a prime example of our ‘Delivering More’ tagline.
