Seattle, Washington - Home of the Space Needle, the current MLB Playoff contending Mariners, and our very own catering delivery driver extraordinaire, Gregg H. Gregg has been living in Seattle for over 20 years but has only been part of DeliverThat Driver Nation for six months. Despite this being his first and only app-based occupation, Gregg caught on quickly and surpassed over 380 deliveries in that time.
In April, Gregg first learned about the DeliverThatt platform while browsing an online job board. "I really appreciated the short, user-friendly onboarding process," he said. Encouraged by the quick onboarding, Gregg was eager to test out this new delivery app immediately. "On my first day, I remember I took three jobs all at once to test my capabilities. Though I got them all to the customers on time and made it work, I realized the importance of not overloading yourself," he said. Gregg followed that up with some advice to newer drivers on the platform, "Take 30 minutes every night and plan your day. You have control over the deliveries you take, so take the time to find what's advantageous and efficient to save yourself time and [gas] money on the back end".
A benefit of being a gig-delivery driver is delivering in areas within your metro you might not usually find yourself. Gregg agreed, "Living in Seattle, there are some especially beautiful places I have delivered to that I wouldn't typically travel to otherwise. Even having the ability to look out the window of a business, I was delivering to on the 65th floor in downtown Seattle was something I wouldn't otherwise be able to do." An added benefit of driving with DeliverThat is knowing where you are delivering to. "My favorite aspect of DeliverThat is knowing there's an extra sense of security when you are delivering. It's comforting knowing I am going to be delivering to business professionals who are always respectful and grateful for the job you are doing," Gregg said.
